Opponent: No. 1-ranked Brigham Young.

Records: San Diego State (1-11; 0-9 Mountain Pacific Sports Federation); Cougars (8-1; 6-1 MPSF).

Sight: Peterson Gym.

Time: Saturday at 7 p.m.

Key Aztecs: Junior Matt Galvin, who played at BYU for two years, will be facing his former team for the first time as an Aztec. Galvin leads SDSU in kills and is one of the national leaders in service aces. Junior Matt Hyden is second on the team in kills and had a .444 hitting percentage in the first match last weekend against Hawaii.

Key Cougars: With only one senior on the roster, BYU is led by three sophomores Ryan Millar, Ingo Lindemann and Oswald Antonetti. Millar, who was the National Freshman of the Year last season, leads the Cougars in hitting percentage (.428), kills (206), digs (59) and blocks (65).

Dig it: Still winless in MPSF play, the Aztecs are facing a team that hasn’t lost in almost a month. The Cougars attained the No. 1 ranking after defeating former No. 1 Stanford and then beating UC Irvine on back-to-back nights.
