LAS VEGAS –It was the same story all season long for San DiegoState. It pressured its opponents, out-shot them and dictated play.But when it came down to it, the inconsistency of goal scoring iswhat did SDSU in during the Mountain West Conference Tournament.
The opening round saw the Aztecs dominate play and cruise to a 3-0victory over New Mexico. The semifinal game against Utah was againdominated by SDSU, however, the Aztecs couldn’t convert on theirchances and lost 2-1.
