UNDER THE SCOPE: Fashion Overdose

San Diego-based designers Timmy T and Bou are deeply invested in their goal of giving plus-size men and women self-esteem and confidence through the medium of fashion.

Both designers were eager to tell us that, "Clothes must enhance … the female form and curve." But more than just giving people styles that complement their curves, Fashion Overdose says it wants "to provide edgy plus-size attire so women can be confident, no matter what their size. We want larger women to no longer be seen as second-class citizens!" With the ridiculous amount of skinny jeans and teeny tiny bikinis displayed endlessly in boutique windows, it gives regular women hope that somewhere out there are designers who realize that even though you may not be a size 2, you can still get hip, fresh and fun clothing.
