Aztecs Update: SDSU is coming off a 160-138 loss to NorthernArizona last Saturday at the Wall Aquatic Center in Flagstaff, Ariz.It won seven of 14 events, but it wasn’t enough. The Aztecs wastedgood efforts by junior Heather DeFelice and freshman Megan Storey.DeFelice finished first in the 100 and 200-meter breaststroke (Oneminute, 7.94 seconds and 2:28.45, respectively). As for Story, shefinished first in the 500 and 1,000 freestyle with respective timesof 5:13.05 and 10:36.18. Juniors Meghan Casillan, Tara Johnson andfreshman Hannah Ryan teamed up with DeFelice to win the 400 medleyrelay at 4:00.73.

Toreros Update: USD fell to 0-2 after losing to UCLA on the roadlast Saturday, 182-90. It was able to win only one event, the400-meter freestyle relay, out of 15. On Oct. 14, the Toreros lost toNew Mexico at home 127-97. However, of the 12 events in that meet,USD was able to place first in five of them. USD is led by third-yearcoach Mike Keeler.
