Nordhagen setfour SDSU single-season records last season including batting average(.391), runs (40), hits (81) and doubles (14). Hershman leads theteam with 30 RBI and 16 stolen bases, while batting .339. On defense,look out for pitcher Sandra Durazo, who became the school’s all-timewinningest pitcher last season with 25 wins.

Opponents’ Update: Illinois-Chicago boasts power-hitting seniorStefanie Christoferson, who batted .346 with 44 RBI last season.Likely to debut will be UC Riverside newcomer Jessica Jenkins, whoearned first team All-American honors at Palomar Junior College. The49ers have outfielder Jessica Smith, who hit in 13 home runs lastseason.
