If you’re like half of my friends and you’re a dude, then you are probably feeling the stress of week 5 in your fantasy football league. Now, you could have been like me and drafted Tom Brady in both your leagues as your first pick. Or, you could have been like my friend, who will remain unnamed, but has a very similar name to that of Benedict XVI, and drafted the entire Green Bay Packers’ offense and defense because he thinks that they are God’s football team to men.

“Kyle has earned his reinstatement and will represent himself, San Diego State and our basketball program in a fashion that we all can be proud of,” San Diego State men’s basketball head coach Steve Fisher said at yesterday’s press conference. San Diego State swimming and diving head coach Mike Shrader knows a little something about rebuilding a team. The San Diego State men’s tennis team could form a small-scale United Nations if it was necessary. With half of its players born internationally, the team is composed of Russian, German, Ecuadoran, Israeli, and of course, American descents. In no way, though, is this diversity by coincidence. After all, seven of the NCAA Division I men’s tennis current top-10 players were born outside of the United States.

It’s easy to fall into the same routine every day: school, work, studying and sleep. Sometimes the one thing you need as a San Diego State student is change – particularly a change that includes caffeine. These four, diverse coffeehouses give you options, whether you want a hip, downtown setting or prefer to end the night with a glass of wine after reading.

Editor’s note: Names in this article have been changed by the request of individuals interviewed. On campus there is a variety of fast-food restaurants that students can visit. There are meals for the health-conscious, for the not-so-health-conscious, for the snackers and for the thirsty. Meal plans are a way of paying for food at the beginning of the semester and not having to worry about money for on-campus meals on a day-by-day basis.
