This is a public service announcement intended to improve the overall quality of life on campus.

I’ve been noticing a few things that have been making it hard for me to show my sunny side. Up until now, I just figured these things would work themselves out as students wise up to campus life. Well, that hasn’t happened yet, so hopefully this will help.

When most people think of cheese, they reminisce about the numerous birthday parties spent at Chuck E. Cheese and childhood lunches consisting of macaroni and cheese. What most people do not think of however, are the healthy facts about cheese.

On the outside, Heaven Sent Desserts may look like any other upscale dessert and coffeehouse, but it is the story woven into every detail of Heaven Sent that makes it unique.

Ranked 77th in the nation in recent polls, San Diego State is trying to string together some successful tournaments in order to maintain and improve its current position. SDSU is involved in simultaneous tournaments this week; the NMSU Price’s “Give “Em Five” Invitational in Las Cruces, N.M., and the Aztec Fall Classic in Chula Vista. The “A”-team is facing several ranked teams in Las Cruces today as the team heads into the final round in 12th place.

There are plenty of obstacles that can derail even the best of runners.
Sore legs and tired bodies are just a few, but one of the most difficult to overcome is the mental aspect of running.

As a senior, I have read The Daily Aztec for four years and was unaware that the State of Mind section had regressed to the humor attempts of the Koala. The column “McCain’s Palin is paling in comparison” (Tanya Dracolakis, Sept. 10) is both the most humorous and most disturbing published piece I have ever seen. To demean the position of vice president to that of an intern is ridiculous. It is laughable in its absurdity, yet it is also disturbing in the columnist’s knowledge of our political system to compare the policy and advising role of the vice president with that of an intern. While they may be on the same level within pop culture, comparing Al Gore to Monica Lewinsky is comedic. Sen. Joe Biden certainly had no qualms about potentially leaving the senate to run alongside Sen. Barack Obama. Perhaps he too should be offended by a chance at the vice presidency. Tanya Dracolakis states that she had no knowledge of Gov. Sarah Palin before she was picked to run alongside Sen. John McCain. I would think that such an admission should serve as a sign that she is ill-qualified to write a column about the woman.
