Americans who believe the country is better off with the Democrats controlling Congress: 49%

Americans who currently believe President Obama is doing enough to cooperate with Republicans: 62%

Americans who approve of President Obama’s job performance: 64%

Americans who feel the country is headed in the right direction: 48%

The question is why might Obama release some of this story, but not all of it. If his intentions were to provide the public with true understanding of how our country came to legally justify and practice torture on top level members of al-Qaida, then at the very least he could expect to give us the full truth, especially if his administration has access to it. Not some of it, not half of it 8212; all of it.

A recent analysis of government data by the Center for College Affordability and Productivity, published in The New York Times, found that colleges and universities have, on average, doubled their full-time support staff even though enrollment has only increased by about 40 percent. The experts did not suggest the increase in support staff 8212; which does not include professors 8212; was directly responsible for the dramatic increases in tuition, but it’s not unreasonable to conclude that it had an impact, likely a major one.
