Steve Fisher has shared part of the Aztec Athletics Center with four football head coaches in his 12-year tenure as head coach of San Diego State’s men’s basketball team. He’s seen SDSU football lose a lot of games.

It’s Dec. 8, and the San Diego State football team has practice tomorrow. That’s weird because for as long as anyone around here can remember, December has been a month when SDSU players say goodbye and go their separate ways.

MATT-ER OF FACT: Hoke is staying, what about Burris?

Following San Diego State head coach Brady Hoke’s press conference today, I spoke with prolific junior linebacker Miles Burris who said he hasn’t consulted with NFL agents, and that he’ll return for his senior season. Burris led the Mountain West Conference this year with 9.5 sacks and 19 tackles for loss.
