Fired-up SDSU runs Utah off the court

Instead of simply wanting a win against Utah last night, San Diego State fans wanted a blowout. Halfway through the first period of SDSU’s 85-53 victory against Utah and the team already up by 19, “The Show” started chanting, “Show no mercy!” And the team listened.

Healthy food options hard to find

As freshmen initiate their first years of total freedom and bliss, they ponder about the legend of the “freshman 15.” According to Ashley Medina, a kinesiology sophomore, life in the resident halls at San Diego State tends to lead students into an unhealthy diet and inevitably an unhealthy lifestyle.
“Even though it is nice to live close to campus. The 10-minute walk to campus does not compensate the thousands of calories consumed daily at the diner or the food market,” Medina said.

I just have no desire to assimilate into a movement that was founded on historical fallacies. I would rather be an individual in a nation that promotes individualism than pigeon-hole myself with exclusivists and segregationists. Specifically, MEChA.
