The San Diego State University Senate is coordinating with Associated Students to create a bike lane task force. University Senate chair Bill Eadie said he expects the task force made of staff, students and faculty to be in effect by the end of the week.
Details about the task force aren’t fully fleshed out yet, but Director of SDSU’s School of Communication William Snavely said it will “come into effect pretty quickly.”
Snavely who will chair the task force, will work with A.S. Vice President of University Affairs Matthew Cecil.
Snavely says he assumes the task force is being set up to assess the safety and access of alternative wheeled vehicles on campus.
