The San Diego State University Aztecs scored two touchdowns within the first 10 minutes of the game and lead the University of New Mexico Lobos 14-7 at halftime. SDSU scored on its first offensive play with a 75-yard touchdown pass from junior quarterback Quinn Kaehler to junior wide receiver Ezell Ruffin.
Ruffin already has four catches for 123 yards and a touchdown. Junior running back Adam Muema has one touchdown and 71 yards on nine carries.
UNM freshman running back Teriyon Gipson scored the Lobos’ only touchdown with a 20-yard run in the first quarter.
