Maybe I'm a little obsessed with "Watchmen" right now, but it's good. Really good, in fact. Sure, there are flaws — the music is slightly corny sometimes, the revionist history is confusing sometimes — but I'm willing to overlook it in light of how long it took to make the film well. In the last decade, Paul Greengrass (of Bourne trilogy fame) produced 40 minutes of his own version of "Watchmen." (What fan boy doesn't want to see that version?!?) It never went any farther, but, oh my, how different it would be if he'd finished. With Zach Snyder as the director, still on a "300" upswing, "Watchmen" was assured to be a stylized spectacle.
