Coming off a devastating loss to Nevada, the San Diego State men’s tennis team was searching for a bounce back weekend at the Rice Invitational in Houston. And while SDSU was well on its way to a rebound performance, winning the first two matches of the Invite — beating Texas A&M Corpus Christi 4-1 and Texas Pan-American 4-0 — the No. 38 Aztecs faltered just short of the finish line, dropping the final match against Invitational host No. 36 Rice on Sunday, 4-0.
