Facing an inferior 5-6 Harvard squad just three days before Mountain West Conference play wasn’t planned, but the San Diego State women’s tennis team welcomed the well-deserved break, cruising past the Crimson 6-1 at the Aztec Tennis Center on Tuesday. “We do the schedules a year and a half in advance,” head coach Peter Mattera said. “You don’t really know what you’re going to get, but it worked out well for us.” Right from the first serve, it was clear SDSU (11-3) was the superior squad.
