I am referring to Detroit’s automakers, the so-called “Big Three” made up of General Motors Corp., Chrysler and Ford Motor Co. The way things are looking, they may be only the “medium few” automakers.

John McCain’s senior adviser Nancy Pfotenhauer and North Carolina congressman Robin Hayes are among those who have recently been waxing poetic about “real” Americans. “Real” Americans are blue-collar, working-class folks; Joe Six-Pack, Joe the Plumber...in general, people named Joe. “Real” Americans aren’t “big city” folk...in fact, if you live in a city, you are not a “real” American.

David Duke and Adolf Hitler have just found a new best friend in the guise of Republican Louisiana State Rep. John LaBruzzo. LaBruzzo, from the same district as former Grand Wizard of the Ku Klux Klan David Duke, wants to pay the poor $1,000 to sterilize themselves so they won't have children. He said he wants to end poverty. How very nice of him.
