After thrilling finishes in its previous two games against UNLV and the University of New Mexico, the No. 16 San Diego State men’s basketball team looked to put on another good show for fans at Viejas Arena Saturday night.

The San Diego State men’s basketball team was a double-digit favorite coming into its game against cross-town rival University of San Diego, but found itself down by double digits against USD’s Toreros early in the game.

Fired-up SDSU runs Utah off the court

Instead of simply wanting a win against Utah last night, San Diego State fans wanted a blowout. Halfway through the first period of SDSU’s 85-53 victory against Utah and the team already up by 19, “The Show” started chanting, “Show no mercy!” And the team listened.
