Paramore — “Brand New Eyes”
Femme fatale frontwoman Hayley Williams is back with her boys for Paramore’s third album. Released on Sept. 29, “Brand New Eyes” signifies a continuation of the alternative rock band’s reign as one of the more listenable modern bands in its genre.  Despite a general sound similarity to its previous releases, the 11-song album is nonetheless enjoyable from beginning to end. The track “Misguided Ghosts” lends a nice change of pace for the band, with a more experimental, melancholy emotion while tracks such as the introductory song “Careful” stick closer to the band’s trademark sound. “Brand New Eyes” ranked an unprecedented peak of No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart as well as a commendable No.1 position on the Alternative Albums chart. With album sales and chart positions adding evidence to the band’s continued popularity, this album is sure to titillate Paramore fans old and young.
