Weezer contest

One might think cliques ended in high school, but cell phone company T-Mobile has brought them to universities in an effort to create the largest Facebook fan page for its new release of the Motorola CLIQ cell phone. T-Mobile is awarding the college with the most votes a free performance from the band Weezer and $1 for every vote up to $25,000. San Diego State is currently in 21st place with 2,262 votes and Florida State University is holding a strong first place with 9,404 votes. The voting ends at 11:59 p.m. on Nov. 30  and the winner will be announced Dec. 2.

Voting is open to any U.S. resident 18 years or older, so recruit family and friends to join Facebook, add the application and vote for SDSU to bring a free concert and a cash prize to campus.
